The Mississippi Hunter Jumper Association (MHJA) is a non-profit educational organization promoting the English equestrian discipline in the state of Mississippi - hunter and jumper competitions and clinics, horsemanship, horse care and training and sportsmanship.

The Mississippi Hunter Jumper Association (MHJA) is a charitable and educational organization which promotes national and international competition, and all phases of equestrian science, jumping, combined training, horsemanship, horse care and training.

The MHJA is the only organization in the state of Mississippi which sponsors and sanctions hunter/jumper competition. It’s four horse shows each year are approved by the American Horse Show Association. Those shows meet certain standards which strive for fair competition, humane treatment of horses and a sportsmanlike attitude among exhibitors.

The MHJA also sanctions shows sponsored by its members and other AHSA affiliated organizations. Points are awarded for prizes won and year-end championships and the accompanying cooler are valued by MHJA members. The MHJA is registered with the IRS as a 501 C(3) organization and its purposes are entirely educational, promotional and charitable.
